Anne Etheridge is a cinematographer for feature films, television, documentaries and commercials. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Anne brings a strong sense of place and depth of story to the images she crafts. Narrative and documentary projects that Anne has lensed have screened at film festivals around the world, including Cannes' Directors' Fortnight, Sundance, Berlin, Rotterdam, SXSW and Tribeca. Anne’s recent narrative credits include the highly-acclaimed HBO series IN TREATMENT, Season 4, starring Uzo Aduba and the final season of the Duplass Brothers’ HBO anthology series, ROOM 104, where she worked with a host of exceptional directors, including Karan Soni, Patrick Brice, and Janée LaMarque. Highlights of her feature credits include, RETURN, written and directed by Liza Johnson and starring Linda Cardellini, Michael Shannon and John Slattery, and ONE MORE TIME, written and directed by Robert Edwards and starring Christopher Walken and Amber Heard. Anne's latest documentary project, THE TALLEST DWARF, directed by Julie Wyman, had its premiere at SXSW in 2025. And, in 2024, Anne lensed XCLD: THE STORY OF CANCEL CULTURE, for Trevor Noah’s MSNBC’s series, THE TURNING POINT working with long time collaborator and award-winning director Ferne Pearlstein. Other notable documentaries include, Julia Meltzer’s DALYA'S OTHER COUNTRY, selected to kick off the 2017 national PBS series, POV, and Pearlstein's widely-acclaimed, THE LAST LAUGH, which featured Mel Brooks, Sarah Silverman and Rob Reiner. Anne is honored to have participated in the highly-regarded Sundance Directors' Labs over multiple years, and holds an MFA in cinematography from AFI. Anne lives in Los Angeles with her longtime partner, Robert, and their two sons.
